The American InterContinental University (AIU) is a private educational institution that was created in 1970 and is owned by Career Education Corporation. The school first began in Europe as the American College of Applied Arts. The current headquarters are in Atlanta, while the online degree offices are located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
AIU provides students with an alternative to the traditional education concept, by providing an online education option since 2001. The institution also has 6 physical campuses that are located across the globe in cities such as Atlanta , London, Los Angeles, Sandy Springs, Houston and Weston. Admissions
American InterContinental University's admission requirements include a complete application, $50 application fee, proof of high school diploma, admission interview and an English proficiency test for non-English speaking students. Tuition & Financial Aid
Tuition for AIU program completions vary from $13,000 to $31,000. Students are able to apply for financial aid with a FAFSA form.
