Students enrolled in the Bachelor Degree in Justice Studies - Criminal Justice program learn about politics, law, justice and social sciences. Courses that are a part of the program include general psychology, human communication, research writing, biology concepts, introduction to biochemistry, justice issues, social research, police function, correctional function, and substantive law. This online degree in criminal justice enables graduates to get jobs in an array of criminal justice positions. The bachelor program can be completed in 120 credit hours.
Master of Science in Criminal Justice - Law Enforcement
The Master of Science in Criminal Justice - Law Enforcement has an enhanced curriculum that is based on the bachelor program. Students learn about legal concepts and foundations, organizational behavior, forensic psychology, criminal justice issues, domestic and international law, public policy, criminal investigations, ethics, terrorism, and legal research. Graduates that have an online criminal justice degree can gain employment as a probation officer, corrections officer, parole officer, law clerk, justice administrator and many others. This program requires 40 credit hours to complete.
