This for-profit university was founded in 1977 and is located in Florida. The Main campus of Keiser University is located in Fort Lauderdale with satellite campuses, including the online campus, which is located in Melbourne, Tallahassee, Daytona Beach, Sarasota, Lakeland, Kendall, Orlando, Jacksonville, Pembroke Pines, Port St. Lucie, West Palm Beach, and Tampa. The online campus was opened in 1999 and the University offers 35 associate degrees, 16 bachelor degrees, 8 master degrees, and 1 doctoral degree.

Keiser University is licensed by the Commission for Independent Education. The University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of College and Schools. In addition, the University is also accredited by Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools, the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences, the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for Physician Assistants, Inc., the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiological Technology, and the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education of the American Physical Therapy Association, among others.

Keiser is determined to provide all students, through its quality education, the proper skills and knowledge required to operate successfully in the business world today. The University also places a great importance on community, as the school has various education programs and community partnerships in place. One of the ways the University is able to provide their quality education is by having a student to teacher ratio of 11:1.

Admissions
For individuals to enroll in Keiser University’s distance learning degree program, an application must be submitted with proof of high school graduation by means of transcript or diploma, or verification of GED by submitting scores or diploma, or proof of graduation from a foreign education institution that is comparable to a secondary school of the United States. Tuition and Financial Aid
The tuition to enroll in Keiser University’s online distance learning program is under $50,000 for the entire program. There are additional fees and expenses that are charged by the University that include an application fee of $50, a registration fee of $145, education fee per semester is $600, as well as $550 for required student equipment, $1250 for required text books and $500 for recommended textbooks.
Students can complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form and submit it for review to see what type of financial assistance is available for an online degree program.
