Overview
The University of Cincinnati is a coeducational institution that was founded in 1819 and is a part of the University System of Ohio. The University was created by a sizeable endowment. In 1977 the University would become part of the State university system.
The school was the first to develop and implement the co- education program, which was developed by Herman Schneider in 1906. This program consisted of on-campus instruction and off-campus work at a company that was a part of the program.

IN 2008 the Princeton Review listed the University’s College of Law as one of the Best 117 Law Schools. Money Magazine has ranked the school 62nd among Money’s 100 “elite values” in higher education. In 2007, Business Week ranked the University’s College of Business among the Top 100 Business Programs in the United States.
Admissions
Students who wish to enroll at this distance learning university are required to submit an application, with the required application fee, must have a bachelor degree from a regionally accredited college or equivalent degree from another country, a minimum GPA of 3.0, and if English is not first language, additional requirements will need to be met. The University may also require additional information about a student’s previous educational experience.
Tuition and Financial Aid
The tuition that is required to enroll in this distance learning university starts out at approximately $435 per credit hour for undergraduate programs. For online graduate degree programs, the tuition starts at approximately $3,200 per semester. The University has additional fees and expenses that are charged based on the type of online degree program chosen.
Students are also able to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form to see what type of financial assistance is available. The University also has many scholarships, grants, and other financial assistance for an online degree program.
